Batu Seremban, also known as the traditional game “Five Stones” was the game of choice a generation ago, similar to the game "Jacks."

Embracing the traditional heritage of Malaysia, this floral print highlights the essence of batik in Southeast Asia: flora and fauna. Exclusively created with a third-generation batik workshop to keep the art of batik thriving from generation to generation. Pink Floret is hand-painted in refreshing pink and white hues, casting a vibrant and rejuvenating color palette on this traditional batik motif.

Material: Our Batu Seremban is 100% cotton hand-blocked Malaysian batik

Design: Inside the pouch are 5 pieces of “batu” as playing pieces. The size of the pouch is 13cm L x 14cm W x 12cm H and it comes with an instruction card on how to play this beloved Malaysian traditional game.

Unique Variations: Each piece is a work of art, with colors and prints that may vary from one another. This distinctiveness arises from the meticulous hand-blocking, hand-printing, and hand-painting that is bestowed upon each fabric.

  • Unique Artistry: Each garment is a limited-edition masterpiece, with intricate motifs painstakingly hand-drawn by skilled Malaysian artisans for over 8 hours. No two pieces are exactly alike - you'll own a one-of-a-kind wearable work of art that blends contemporary style with ancient techniques.
  • Preserving Generational Craftsmanship: Each garment showcase the dedication of generational Malaysian batik makers from rural Malaysian villages. Using time-honoured wax-resist dyeing and traditional canting tools, our skilled artisans meticulously hand-print every garment - an unparalleled celebration of authentic heritage craftsmanship.
  • Ethical, Sustainable Artistry: Unlike disposable fast fashion, our pieces are ethically crafted in limited quantities through sustainable production methods.
