With 2021 coming to a close, I want to thank you for your support. Our social enterprise has since persevered despite a global pandemic and numerous lockdowns. Our team has grown to 15 staff at our new studio office and we opened our 3rd retail outlet. Two new seamstresses joined our sewing centre team, we supported the beginnings of another sewing group amongst refugees while we continue to use other profits to support education to children from marginalized communities.
Through all the trials and tribulations we as a team along with all our artisans never falter on our vision - to globalize the art of batik and to provide sustainable income for artisans in Malaysia.
For 2022, we plan on growing our brand's awareness and digital presence internationally. We are keen on building a legacy for Malaysian batik. With every product purchased, you continue to make a difference in the lives of those involved from start to finish. It brings me great joy to know that this, in turn, will alter the course of our artisans' lives and their families and create stronger communities.

The year 2021 has been an extraordinary year for us. On November 27th, right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, we opened our new flagship store at The Row, Kuala Lumpur.
What we value the most at our company is empowering the artisans by providing the required training and tools, and getting them on board with us. This year we trained 20 seamstresses and added 2 new artisan groups.
We were fortunate enough to find like-minded people and companies to collaborate with and created collections like Atilia by Batik Boutique, LILIT, Projek57.
Our family is growing, and to accommodate our big family we moved into a new workspace at The Row, Kuala Lumpur. Our new workspace includes an Office Studio that's designed to give our team members a space to be more creative, have fun at work and a dedicated section for Batik painting workshops.
We are going global, this year we hit a new milestone and shipped our products to 30 different countries.
